Fun Fact About Tombstone

Did you know Tombstone was originally
founded as a silver mining town by
Prospector Ed Schieffelin?

While staying at Camp Huachuca, soldiers warned Ed the only thing he would find would be his own tombstone.

Ed pressed on, struck silver and named his
first silver mine "Tombstone."
